“This is exciting!” Astro very happily chirped while leaving their shared home, holding onto Buzz’s arm, the ring on his finger flashing in the fleeting light of the sunset. “The award Gala is going to be fun, even more so knowing you will be on stage,”He only joked slightly.



“I don’t always win.”Buzz protested but nodded his head when Astro spoke of excitement. The one little curl forever not staying slicked back no matter how much gel Buzz put to it.



“Oh you have one at LEAST one thing every year, I don’t think that’s going to stop any time soon Buzzy Bee.”He grinned back, Buzz smiled warmly down at him, continuing the walk to their car, the one that would bring them to the venue hall that the Gala was being held at.

Astro was on Buzz’s arm the whole night, talking to the other rangers in small talk, laughing at jokes and fun stories. “Mira! I’m so proud of you! You did an amazing job, be proud of that award!”He praised, Buzz was smiling but staying quiet, he actually turned and started chatting with someone else.



Other than the awards, Astro and Buzz’s wedding was the talk of the Gala, it had only happened maybe two months ago, so it was somewhat still fresh in the minds of many.



“Not a surprise you got that award this year lightyear, uh, lightyear-comet,” the other Ranger spoke in a calm but happy tone, though chuckled when they corrected themselves on the last name.“-and congratulations on the marriage, and you must be the lucky husband.”The other ranger’s attention was shifted to Astro.



Astro laughed open mouthed with Buzz,hand up, gold wedding band glinting in the warm light of the room. “Well, flattery won’t get you anywhere with Buzzy, I’ll have you know that.”Astro teased The other Ranger shrugged, holding his hands up.



“Well, worth a shot.”
