A Worldshaper. An Architect is an acolyte of their Archon -- one of the eight Guardians of Creation that summoned or created them -- that can now experience the multiverse in a way never previously imagined. Ranging from controlling the elements to manipulating reality around them, these angels of the Archons fight in the infinite war raging across the Macrocosm. In other words, an Architect is a soldier in the War of the Archons.
But what is it really?
In laymens terms, an Architect is an avatar of you as an author and creative. You have created and manipulated entire worlds and universes countless times over as a writer, and so, too, shall your Architect! What this means, exactly, is entirely up to you! Your Architect may bend reality, see into the past or future, or even walk among dreams or become the embodiment of fear itself! The choice is up to you!
Some Architects are born. Some Architects are created. Some Architects are taken from their world or have seen their universe torn asunder during the course of the War of the Archons. And some Architects are ageless; ancient remnants of when the Macrocosm was new.
Your Architect can be thought of as many different things. A superhero. A mutant. A god. The basic concept is that they have the gifts of one of the eight Archons to create constructs of their own imagination. What this means is really up to your interpretation!
As a general rule, there is only one Architect per universe, though that can be overwritten by you at anytime. If you want to create an Architect that comes from a universe where plenty of other Architects come from, by all means, go ahead and do so! You can even come from the same universe as another player's Architect, if you both agree to it. We highly encourage you to interpret your Architect in any way you choose as infinite universes means infinite possibilities!
Basically, there really aren't any limits to the creative ideas you can come up with for your Architect! We want to see and even encourage you to let your imagination soar with this!
