Architect City, a sprawling metropolis, was a beautiful thing, and it's denizens enjoyed all sorts of amenities, and had some awe-inspiring places and people to meet. But only the places interested Cain, people were to easy to read, to simple and boring for him, so he went in search of somewhere fascinating, looking for anything that peeked his interest. He walked through the park that spanned much of the city, looking at everything, his mouth opened in awe, as he saw so many colorful things, from trees and grass, to flowers and streams, it was gorgeous and utterly new to him. Being kept in the lab, Cain had never seen the outside, never smelled fresh air, and had never felt the soft ground beneath his feet. His feet were of course, bare, as he didn't own any shoes, so he felt the full experience of all the terrain he traversed. He stopped in front of a tree as he heard a small chirp, looking up he saw a beautiful small bird, it's feather an emerald green mixed with a soft yellow. He had never seen such a thing and held out his hand, his mind reaching out to its own and commanding it to come over. The bird fluttered down and landed on his hand, tilting its head curiously at him, to which he smiled, "Hello there," he said softly, his voice gentle, "My name is Cain." The bird simply tilted its head at this large creature that it sat on, and it chirped again unafraid, and began to hop further up his arm. A while later, Cain had gathered a small flock of birds on his person, many different shades and colors, sizes and shape. Cain grinned happily, and he spoke to them softly, carrying a conversation that they couldn't respond to. But suddenly his new friends took off, wings fluttering as something suddenly startled them. Cains smile faded and he felt sad wondering why his new friends had left him, and he felt out with his mind and found someone else approaching, someone that felt off, looking in that direction he saw another boy, close to the same age he was. Not knowing any better, Cain shifted through space and appeared suddenly in front of the other boy his head tilted curiously, his expression inquisitive.

Prince just got out of class, well, he just left it, class ended around 30 minutes ago, he just liked to wait for the kids to go to class again before he went out, just so he didn't have to deal with annoying kids and the crowd. He wanted to go to the cafe nearby, it wasn't too crowded at this time, but the most peaceful way was through the park, of course, since the other path to the cafe was closed down. He sighed, his hands in his pocket as he walked through the park in his uniform, he really needed to get some kind of money to get actual clothes, wearing his uniform was easy, it didn't get stained too easily and was easily washable with normal water, but it was still not really... him. He didn't pay too much attention to all the birds that flew away from him, normal, they could sense the dark energy that surrounded him.
He was kinda lost in his mind, not noticing too much around him. This whole school thing he decided to do was weird, he was silent most of the time, he already got scolded for correcting the teacher twice on math, like it's his fault that the teacher said it incorrectly, and also for not listening, even though he could say the answer everytime he was asked. He may have overtaught himself with some stuff, but he had the knowledge accissble so why would he not? Walking through the park, he didn't look at the boy he crossed, he wasn't interested in his surrounding, at least till this particular boy did not just appeared before him. Teleportation was that one quick movment that was impossible to dodge even for Prince, but him bumping into him and then jumping back was indeed a quick reaction. The sudden physical contact made his body shiver a bit, but he held a straight face, he was in a good mood, but he never really reacted too greately to sudden physical contacts.
"What the hell? Have you ever heard of giving a warning?"
He growled, looking at the boy before him, just about a few inches taller than him, white hair, comforting red eyes, weird clothes, he blinked a bit before he shook his head, the fuck was he staring? It was weird, but he ignored it, putting his hands into his pockets as he looked up at Cain.
"What do you want? Since I doubt you just accidentally teleport before someone without a warning"
He stated, he stared at Cain, his emerald eyes were quite the opposite of Cain's light red eyes, as they were quite dark, the darkest shade of emerald that can still be called that colored, he just stared up, his expression quite judgemental, he did not quite expect him to be interested in the dark energy he was letting out, he could sense he was Zegnum, not Zolomyr but didn't matter, so maybe he could sense another Zegnum architect around? Maybe just here to chat? Maybe just another trouble maker like Disk, who knows.

Cain tilted his head, light red eyes peering at Prince with a neutral expression. Cain tried to peer into this person's mind but only touched the surface, a vast she'll surrounded their consciousness as well as....Something else. Cain felt the touch of anger this other boy let off, and his words confused him a bit. Why was he angry? Had Cain done something wrong. He took a step back, his eyes never leaving Prince's, and then he spoke. "You scared the birds." He said voice soft, almost like a breeze, "You feel off, not like the others." He straightened his head only to tilt it the other way, a curious look in his eyes. Cain was fascinated, this other boy, was different, like him, and his eyes were interesting, he had never seen such eyes before. He leaned forward again, not getting the need for personal space, his eyes and mind searching, studying. "Are you different? Are you like me?" He asked, a tinge of excitement bubbling up, eyes glittering, his excitement causing a tiny pebbles and dust to raise a few inches off the ground as his powers did what they wanted.

The boy before him looked kinda confused, maybe it was just his outrage, as the boy backed away from him, he sighed "patience is your greatest weapon" he thought before he calmed down a bit and laid his hands into his pockets again, "you scared the birds" the boy's voice was calm and soft, it was like some kind of lullaby, strangely nice to hear but Prince just felt even more weirded out from Cain. He glanced at the birds that were sitting as far away from him as they could, most just not even getting close to them, denying any kind of message from Cain to get closer. Yeah, he already forgot that animals do that around him. "Yeah, animals don't really like me that much" He kinda researched this reaction from animals, it very much looked like that the demonic aura affected them, animals forced to stay in his presence for longer than 45 hours have gone wild, killing each other, they became aggressiv, no matter how passive they were before. He gave up on really getting in contact with beings like animals, just another being that didn't quite wanted his presence. "You feel off not like the others" this comment made Prince roll his eyes slightly, he thought of continuing with 'Wow no shit sherlock' but he tried to... at least overthink his words before speaking. "Wow, rude" He said simply, Cain still stared into his eyes and Prince felt a bit uncomfortable from that by now, this boy made him so weirded out, his behavior, voice, and those weird eyes, everything seemed so calming yet so weird, out of place, like when you look at a picture and you know something is wrong with it, but you can't point your finger on it, well Prince could point a finger on it, but rather, he could not say why he felt so weirded out by them. Cain leaning closer Prince needed to step back a bit, geez, this dude really didn't knew what private space was did he? He kept his patience, he can't snap at every unknowing idiot. The question if he was different or not, no not if he was different, if he was like him he shrugged as he answered. "Dunn' do you have a fucking demon trapped in your body? Guess that will answer it for yourself" He said with a bit uncomfortable expression as Cain was a bit too close still, but he just made the distance between them bigger as he stepped back a bigger step. He sighed again as he looked up at Cain with a more irritated expression, he could not back away all the time. "Could you just keep your distance? Since you wanna chit chat" He said as he stared back at Cain, back into his light and soft red eyes, they were a bit brighter as the light shined on them, yep, this was awkward, he laid his arms next to his body, since he had an idea he will take them out of his pocket a few times. At least Cain looked peaceful, more like an innocent puppy compared to people like Disk, what was he even doing here? He also looked quite lost, like he just experienced the outside world for the first time or something, what the hell was this kid? This question sounded something that other people asked about him, he started to sound like those idiots back at home. Tags: Cain OOC: Wasn't in the mood to get the word count ehhh, but anyway, Prince is getting very weird vibes from your socially awkward kiddo xD

Cain felt even more confused at Princes words, his emotions were different than he had been accustomed to. He processed the words and took a step back, the feeling that he was doing something wrong by being so close being obvious. His mind continued to poke and prod at the others subconscious, looking for any information that could help him understand. His brow furrowed curiously, he had heard the term demon before, but never any context, more just a word with no actual meaning. I don't know what a demon is.... But I'm pretty sure I don't have one. Only my own thoughts and mind." He said quietly, then tilted his head curiously, "Is a demon why your mind is harder than others to look into?" He blinked innocently, a touch of excitement in his eyes, this was new, and interesting. "Is that why animals don't like you?" As his excitement grew, the dust, dirt, and pebbles around his feet began to swirl a few inches off the ground around him. He looked at Prince, and studied the other young boy, he fascinated Cain, his mind was guarded, his attitude was abrasive and rough, and though he felt weirded out by Cain, he wasn't running, and he wasn't being threatening, which was nice. For the first time since the facility, Cain felt.... Something other than fear.

Prince sighed as he rubbed his face a bit, he really wasn't in the energy for this, but he was interested, the boy was Zegnum he could feel it, a Zegnum architect. He stared at the boy before him as he tried to explain he doubted that he had a demon in him, it wasn't meant serious, but he looked like he didn't understand much about sarcacism. He didn't knew what a demon was, Prince was about to open his mouth to explain, before the boy dropped an information... that made him feel rather uncomfortable. He wasn't quite sure how to react to someone telling you, that they are digging in your head. "Yeah stop that, if you want to know something, questions are useful, all you will do with digging in my head is steer up some black shit, and demons are the biggest underworld assholes you can imagine, think of something cursed and rude and multiply it by a few thousand, and add a shit ton of magic" He explained, this really showed his relationship with his demon, they truly loved each other. The question regarding to the animals made Prince glance at the birds that were kept away from him in a good mile radius, like a force keeping them there. He shrugged as he looked back at Cain. "Probably, most animals who are forced to stay around me for longer than 24 hours went insane to a point where they killed and ate their own kind, if they actually eat meat if not, guess pets are just not made for me" He said as he rolled his eyes, not like any kind of relationship with anyone is really made for him, even though he likes pets more than humans. He researched this, he has a lot to explain about this, if anyone would really be interested. No one really asked him to explain it, the quick explaination was enough for everyone "they can sense dark magic", what wasn't completely true, they couldn't sense the dark magic unless they were specifically a type of animal who could sense magic presence. Normal animals had an other reason why they acted like this, but that would be too scientific to explain. "I have done a shit ton of research since I didn't really had anything else to do the last 2 years, I could explain everything I know, but it would be way too scientific for anyone to really care to be interested, so I just don't do it, because trust me, it can suck to talk about something you know no one is interested in hearing" He explained as he just raised an eyebrow, if he was done with questioning Prince had a few too. Questions for questions, that's a fair trade in his opinion, more fair than his nation ever was. "Anyway, if you are done with your little QNA, the question can bounce back to you, what the hell are you, other than architect and Zegnum member, since you seem less like a human and more like some kind of alien from another planet, which you probably are, that was a dumb question everyone around me is one" He said as he rubbed his head, his mind was kinda twisted together, lack of sleep does that, he was kinda nearing his limit of how long he can keep up without sleeping. As he rubbed his eyes his emerald eyes shifted a bit darker then back to how it was, the black circles around his eyes were quite visible now as the sun shined on it. "Jesus, I really need a coffee, has it been around 4 days? I'm getting rusty" He muttered, he talked to himself again, not even realizing it, keeping his thoughts in order when he was tired was hard, especially with habits like talking to himself. When he was full on sleep which never really happened, but as full on energy as he can be with the voices in his head and the nightmares, he can keep his thoughts in order and he can focus on his habits. When he is tired, or well reaching his limit of not sleeping for 4 days, his mind sometimes goes too fast for him to even really understand it. His brain working against himself. Tags: CainOOC: Ah yes when imsomnia kicks Prince hard, he often just doesn't sleep at all because he hates to wake up in sweat or even in tears sometimes, depends how low on a point he is while sleeping, so he just stays awake which causes some stuff to him too, to a point where after 6 days he kinda just black outs, happened before. The problem with that is, black outs after like not sleeping for 6 days are kinda random meaning they can happen like three times a day and the worst possible times >_>

Cain's head stayed stilted as Prince spoke, his words generating more questions as the information sifted through his head. He'd go to open his mouth to speak but Prince would continue. Much of the words and phrases the other boy used were new to Cain, and he wanted to know more, to understand, and when he reached to see what Prince meant, he remembered that prince had said to ask questions, but before he could, Prince asked his own, and Cain had to blink at the question. And hearing the word coffee, Cain perked up a little, he knew what that was, and with a quick mental pulse, searching through thoughts found the item in question, and with a slight sucking sound, Cain vanished, only to reappear a moment later, with a cup of hot coffee in hand, offering it to Prince. "I'm not sure what an 'alien is." he said as he began to answer, "But I wasn't from the stars, I was made in laboratory, by....." he tried to find the right words, "Some very bad people." he said as he rolled up his long white sleeves, to reveal two rows of symmetrical inch wide circular scars, one row on either side of his forearms. He gave an innocent smile, "I just escaped them when i got brought here. Wherever here is that is." His words brought up his own memories of his life and a sadness started to eat at his mind, though his expression kept the innocent smile but as he had never had to hide his emotions before, the pain was obvious in his eyes. he held his arms out for a moment longer before letting them drop to his sides.

Prince spoke to Cain like he was rather enjoying explaining stuff. Not many people before actually let him explain things, and now that he had the freedom to explain things to someone, he felt a type of freedom he could never really feel, in a conversation before. As he glanced over to Cain, he looked slightly in his thoughts as he disappeared- Prince stood back a bit mostly in surprise. It didn't take much time for the boy to appear again with a cup of coffee in hand. He stared at Cain a bit, lost in words as he took the coffee. Teleportation was a hard-ass ability, no it was a nearly impossible ability to master. You had to have a shit ton of magic and complete control over your magic flow to teleport without it ending up in a paradox or without you ending up with a missing limb. Impressed was not a strong enough word to express what Prince was feeling right now. "So... you... can teleport... n...nice." That's all he could spit out at the moment. He took a sip from his coffee, it was decent, not the best he has ever tried, but it was coffee. Cain expressed how he had no idea what an alien is, and Prince wasn't exactly surprised by this. Cain didn't seem to know much about his surrounding. "An alien is, basically what people call beings that are not from their world or planet, so everyone who is not from your world is technically an alien. You don't necessarily... have to be from the stars." He explained, getting lower in tone as he looked at the scars on Cain's arm. The mention of being made in a laboratory and the scars made him have some flashbacks, some flashbacks he didn't want to have any time soon. His expression darkened for a second as he shook them away quickly. He looked to his right then sighed. "Yeah, could just pull your sleeve back, not in the mood to have a breakdown kind of shit in public." While he was far from a breakdown, he felt uncomfortable staring at the scars, not necessarily because they were scars. He has seen enough injuries to not feel uncomfortable just from staring at random ones. More because he knew the origins of those scars, and he hated it. He listened to Cain explain how he escaped just because he turned into an architect, and this fact made Prince think over how much the spark of creation can help people. The sad look in Cain's eyes was more visible than he would realize, making Prince feel even worse about his situation. As much as he wished that no one had to suffer through bullshit he did, he can never stop people from cruelty. "Yeah, I get it... Let's change the subject, not quite a fun topic to talk about, more like..." He said as he started to think of a topic. What would be a nice thing to lift the spirit of the conversation? Prince wasn't quite the best at lifting spirits, he was a negative person generally, but he tried for this one time. Yeah, now came the fact that he has not held a normal conversation with anyone in the last years. Prince was also socially awkward. He had no idea what to bring up. "Uhm, don't know I'm not good at bringing up topics, uhhh. Just tell me your name first or your age or anything else you want to share. I'm really not good at this." He said as he took a bigger sip from his coffee. He looked around and spotted a pretty well shadowed grassy spot near them to sit down. He headed in that direction. "Also, let's sit down. I'm not in the mood to stand anymore." Prince walked over to the spot he chose and sat down in the grass, crossing his legs. It was nice to just sit down in the grass and relax. Cain saw Prince's shock as his sudden teleportation, and he smiled brightly, He was proud of his abilities, regardless of how or where he got them. He listened to the explanation of what an alien was, an he looked up in thought, he guessed he was an alien, to Princes eyes at-least. His smile dipped a bit at Princes reaction to his scars, and with a thought his sleeves were back down covering his arms, "Sorry..." he said softly. He was enjoying this interaction and didn't want it to end because he did something wrong.
Then Prince made an attempt at changing the topic, which while Cain didn't fully understand other peoples reactions, he could see the awkwardness, he had seen similar reactions before in other normal people, but he wasn't sure quite what it meant. He looked over Prince again and was curious as to why the other boy felt pain, for some reason, Cain felt a...connection, but he couldn't put it into words. Then Prince suggested that they go sit in some grass and talk, and had asked about Cain, which made him smile. Looking to the spot in question, Cain vanished from where he was standing and reappeared sitting in the shaded grass, looking up to the sky and smiling as he waited for Prince. Once Prince got there Cain spoke in his soft voice, "I am Subject X-Alpha Designation: Cain," he said softly, and a little sadly, "That's what they called me, its the only name i was ever given, so i guess.... My name is Cain." He looks over to Prince, "What's your name?"

The whispered apology didn't bug Prince. Cain did not do anything particularly wrong he just wasn't in the mental state for flashbacks like that. As Cain teleported up to the spot he chose, he made a bit of an annoyed face. Teleporting was definitely cheating. "Dude, teleporting is cheating." He said as he just relaxed in the grass once he sat down. As Cain introduce himself, Prince felt a bit taken back. Yeah, a subject number. It has been a while since he heard one. He rubbed his neck slightly as he tried to think of something, rubbing through some memories. "Subject two-hundred-four or two-hundred-eight. Something with two hundred. Prince answered simply. He looked like he dug through his memories even more. "Ugh, or something like that has been ages since I was called that, but just stay by Prince. I will stay by Cain too, since it sounds more like an actual person's name." He added with a smile. One of the best things about escaping was having an own name. It was something that showed you that you weren't just simply a mindless experiment, and Prince liked the name Cain. "Anyway, now we are on the same page at least. I'm not the master of communication, so don't expect too much of an introduction." Prince was quite clueless on what to say, but since the question and answering method did work somewhat, and he was more comfortable answering questions, he just let Cain live his curiosity out. "You seem clueless about your surrounding, so I guess you can just ask questions about whatever you wanna know, and I will answer. That's an easy way of starting stuff, I guess." This was the easiest way Prince could think of to start a normal conversation with Cain. Word count: 297 - Tags: CainOOC: I didn't have much idea what to write here :V It's shooooort D:

Cain cracked a smile at the comment about teleporting being cheating, it didn't feel like cheating, it was just something he did, but he got the feeling just from the surface thoughts that he got from Prince that it was something amazing. He turned his head to Prince and listened to him, and his thoughts were confirmed, an experiment, just like him. He let his hand run through the grass, a smile on his face, "It's nice to meet you Prince," he said in his soft almost monotone voice, before looking forward, "You know, you're the first person I've talked to since coming here. Most other's just avoided me." he reached out a hand palm up, and a small stone picked itself out of the ground and floated over and spun in slow circles over his palm. He thought for a second as he smiled at Prince's attempt to change the subject, and told him to ask questions. Looking back over, he tilted his head, "You've mentioned and thought about magic," then remembered what Prince said about going through his head, "Sorry, It's hard to turn not to peak. Anyway, what is magic?"
